Smith, a tailback from Little Rock, Ark., found the end zone three times on the ground in 2023 and was ULM's leading rusher after racking up 507 rushing yards, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Smith's season-long run was a 62-yard rushing touchdown in ULM's 17-13 victory over Army in week one.

A senior linebacker from Monroe, Glass collected third-team defensive honors. Glass has appeared in 24 games for ULM and tallied 59.0 total tackles last season to go along with 7.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and a pair of forced fumbles.

Vigers joined Glass on the third-team defense and has racked up 93 total tackles, six pass deflections, two forced fumbles, one interception, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick in 23 games for the Warhawks.

Ware was the third member of the ULM defense that appeared on the preseason all-conference list, collecting fourth-team defensive honors. In his first season donning a Warhawk uniform, the Hinds Community College transfer started in every game on the defensive line and made 54 total tackles including six tackles for a loss and one fumble recovery.

The Warhawks start the 2024 season at home versus Jackson State on Thursday, August 29 under the lights at Malone Stadium.
