The ULM coaching staff landed their fifth commitment for the 2014 signing class on Thursday with receiver Marcus Green pledging to the Warhawks.
"I called (receivers) Coach (Mario) Price and told him I was ready to commit," the North Pontotoc standout said. "I then talked to (Head) Coach (Todd) Berry and made it official. I'm glad my recruitment is over so I can focus on winning a 3A state title during my senior season."
During his junior campaign, Green found the end zone 24 times, rushing for 461 yards and catching 53 passes for 994 yards.
"The coaching staff was always fired up," Green said. "Even when I was there for the camp, they were all just so fired up. So if they are that fired up for a camp, I want to be a part of what they are doing."
Green joins four other commitments for the 2014, including fellow Mississippian Doug Lofton, a commit that Green said he followed.
As for just how excited Green is though to join the Warhawks, his closing statement was just "Talons Out," the ULM battle cry.
