A 2012 first round playoff loss is the motivator for Blake Mack this summer. The Lonoke, Ark. receiver is hitting camps and working to improve his game in hopes of a deeper post season run in 2013.

"I've been working a lot on getting faster, stronger, and more physical," the 6'2" 2-star receiver said. "I've been to camps with Louisiana Tech, Memphis, and ULM. All of the coaches there have really liked me and liked what they see. My main goal for this season though, is to win state and leave a solid impression at my school."
Mack currently hold offers from Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, and ULM; all are his finalist for landing his commitment that should come before the start of the season, less than a month away.
The Warhawks of ULM are hoping to make Mack their first receiving commitment for 2014, especially after his recent camp performance at the final Warhawk SR Showcase.
"I was really surprised at how nice the facilities were," he said. "The coaches talked with me about how their offense is run. I talked with my recruiter (defensive coordinator Troy Reffett), he's a really cool guy and I like him."
During his two year career with the Jackrabbits, Mack has tallied over 30 receptions and over 540 yards each season, with a total of 14 scores.
In addition to standing out on the gridiron, Mack is getting a few looks on the hardwood, as some junior colleges and Division II schools have checked up on him. Regardless, Mack says that football is his future.
