With so much turnover between players, there was always a chance that some young players would get a chance to play. Coach Viator and his staff are more than willing to play young players if they prove that they have the talent and hard work. Here are some Redshirt Freshmen or Sophomores who will either see the field for the first time this season or have a greatly increased role.

1. Jaylen Veasley

Veasley earned his way into the starting position at defensive tackle. Veasley has good size and speed on the inside and can cause trouble both in the run game and pass game.
