Regain ready to build house, commits to ULM

"I want to build my own house, start my own traditions, and push all of my teammates to be the best that we can be." These were the words of the fourth ULM commitment for the 2013 signing class, Chase Regian. Regain gave his pledge to the Warhawks on Tuesday after a solid performance at the on-campus senior showcase.
"I wanted to meet all the coaches, see the campus up close and when I did that I knew that ULM is where I wanted to be," the 6'3", 274 pound offensive lineman from Heath, Texas said. "I talked with my family and my head coach about everything, and after talking to (Head) coach (Todd) Berry, he had me call coach (Steve) Farmer, and I'm just ready to be a part of all the good thing happening at ULM."

Regian was named to the second team all-district team last season as he helped his team to an 11-2 record. His high school coach is the dad of current Warhawk Austin Moss.
In addition to the familiar face of Moss, Regian already has his roommate selected, as prior 2013 commitment Matt Oubre and him clicked during the camp and decided to commit together.
"We were going to commit together, but it just couldn't happen," Regian said. "I plan on him being my roommate though, and us pushing one another to be better players. I really like coach Berry, he's a great man, and he's going to help all of us do great things."
How solid is his commitment to the Warhawks?
"It's like a marriage, and I don't want to get divorced," he said.
Regain joins the previously announced commitments of Bivins Carraway III, Trey Martin, and Matt Oubre.
