Warhawk Game Day

ULM (6-2, 4-0) enters the annual Battle on the Bayou with
Louisiana-Lafayette (4-3, 2-2) looking to end a four game losing streak to
the Cajuns. Head Coach Todd Berry has fallen in each of his two prior
meetings by just a point, including last season's 36-35 decision. The
current five game winning streak this season by the Warhawks is their
longest in FBS history and is the school's best record after eight games
since their final season in FCS in 1993
What to watch for:
PAT on the back - Justin Manton broke his own consecutive PAT mark last
week and is now 42-42 this season; while hitting 44 straight.
One game - that's all the series advantage the Cajuns own in the 48th
meeting of the schools - ULM 23- Louisiana-Lafayette - 24
Berry Ball - The Warhawks are 17/23 (74%) on 4th down conversions - ULL
has attempted just four 4th down conversions, converting half.
Another one down - QB Kolton Browning is two away from tying Steven
Jyles' career TD passes record.
Seeing RED - The Cajuns are 90% inside opponent red zones, scoring 28 of
31 times.
Points for all - ULM & ULL are one and two, respectfully, in scoring
offense in the Sun Belt Conference.
Odds makers put the Warhawks as 9.5 - 10 point favorites, the second straight
week they've been favored.
